I tried to play Dark Souls PC today and couldn’t sign into Games for Windows Live. Event Viewer says this is error 0x80151909. There’s a thread on the Xbox forums about this issue – Microsoft knows about it.
I’m making this post to assuage others who are having the same issue. You aren’t alone! This is the first time I’ve had a game-breaking issue with GFWL, and it’s pretty upsetting. As my roommate said, “I knew your time would come.”
I tried deleting my profile and re-downloading it to see if that would solve the issue. It didn’t. Now I’m unable to sign in, even offline. Very sad.
